Morbidly Obese Muscatine Mayor Diana Broderson Orders Everybody to Wear Masks

Diana Broderson, the extremely fat Democrat Mayor of Muscatine, has issued a mandatory face mask proclamation and wants the local police to enforce it (archive link).

Broderson was impeached as Mayor in 2017 for numerous things, mostly being a dictatorial asshole, but that impeachment was overturned by District Judge Mark Cleve.  (archive link)

Even a spokesman for the Iowa Attorney General's office said that a local mandate like Mayor Broderson's may not be allowed under current Iowa law.

BUT YOU KNOW THAT EVERY DEMOCRAT POLITICIAN SECRETLY WANTS THAT POWER.

I suspect there will be a court challenge and, lo and behold, the Democrat judges and justices along the way will make some new law about it.  Just like the minimum wage and gay marriage.

There's not even that many active COVID cases in Muscatine County.  It's not like the hospitals are overloaded and the dead bodies are being stacked up like cords of wood in the street!

So what if somebody tests positive?  That doesn't mean they're on death's doorstep.

What is the Democrats and their fetish with masks?

You can't vote for any those assholes in the next election.  Even in some Republican controlled states, like Texas, you see that idiot Governor Abbott capitulating, although people do have many ways to get around not wearing a mask.

But Broderson wants the police to enforce it.

In that case, I think the police in Muscatine should be defunded.
