Black Lies Matter in Iowa City: Commies Intimidating Do-Nothing Socialists

Looks like the commie front group called the "Iowa Freedom Riders" are marching on every City Council member's personal home in Iowa City to intimidate them and their neighbors into supporting their "demands", and promise to be back and to not allow anybody to sleep if their "demands" aren't met.

It's difficult to get excited about this.

After all, Johnson County voters re-elected then-County Attorney, Democrat J. Patrick White, in 1998 to his position with 97% of the vote.  White refused to convene a grand jury or press charges after ICPD Officer Jeffrey Gillespie shot and killed sculptor Eric Shaw in his studio in 1996 after Gillespie illegally entered Shaw's studio because a door a propped open on a warm summer evening.

Today's Johnson County Attorney, Janet Lyness, was White's hand-picked successor and was the Assistant County Attorney at the time of the shooting.

What happened back then?  From the news accounts I've read, almost nothing.  Gillespie resigned.  Jay and Blossom Shaw sought justice, and never got it.  The Iowa City Press-Citizen routinely trashed the Shaws for seeking justice.

Every member of the City Council in Iowa City and the Johnson County Board of Supervisors back then and today were/are Democrats.

This is a Democrat problem.

Just like Minneapolis has a Democrat problem.

And every other large city has a Democrat problem.

They all have police problems, or justice problems.

I think it's easy to conclude that if you have Democrats running things, stuff isn't being run properly, and the police have cover for whatever it is that they want to do.
