The Des Moines Register is chocked full of hacktivist phonies who make shit up and only have the usual gang of Commies and anarchists to go to for quotes.
It's not a surprise that the Register has been constantly engaged in narcissism and navel-gazing every time one of their "reporters" gets arrested or pepper-sprayed for being with the rioters.
I love how the cops don't give a shit about Katie Akin and her "press pass". I only wish that the police would single out all the assholes from the Register, KCCI, WHO, WOI, The Gazette, and every other so-called "media outlet" and teach them a lesson.
Shelby Fleig was with Katie Akin. Shelby, if you don't remember, fluffed Amy Klobuchar in a 3 question "puff piece" in the Register last August. I guess this stupid little corporate obedient radical cunt couldn't be bothered to ask Amy Klobuchar why she, as Hennepin County Prosecutor in 2006, didn't pursue complaints of the officer that murdered George Floyd (archive link).
So far there's been no mention in the Register, or any media outlet, of Disability Lawyer Nathan Kirstein being arrested for rioting the other night. A member of the Iowa Bar being arrested for rioting (an aggravated misdemeanor) ought to be news.
