I figured I'd go through some of the people arrested for RIOT in Polk County.

Here is Nathan David Kirstein, age 42, charged with Riot, booked 5/31/2020.

What does Nathan Kirstein do for a living?

He's a lawyer who works at Disability Rights Iowa, the Law Center for Protection and Advocacy (archive link)

Riot in Iowa Code 723.1 is an aggravated misdemeanor.  That's good for up to 2 years in jail and up to a $6250 fine

What does it take to get a lawyer disbarred?

In Iowa, there are so many corrupt lawyers that the bar is pretty high, but violence can be a factor.

Currently, Nathan Kirstein is in "good standing" with the Iowa Bar.

We'll see if lawyers charged with "riot" continue to remain in the good graces of the Iowa Bar.
