Bleeding Heartland's Interview with Ed Mezvinsky Fails to Mention That He's a Fucking Crook

Laura Belin, wearing a blue dress

Ed Mezvinsky, a former Iowa Congressman, father-in-law of Chelsea Clinton, and convicted felon who spent 5 years in prison not that long ago and who might still owe over $9 million in restitution, was interviewed by Bleeding Heartland's Laura Belin.

No mention of the 31 counts of wire fraud, bank fraud, and other felonies that Mezvinsky plead guilty to in the previous decade.  No mention of son Marc, a former Goldman Sachs employee who became quite possibly the worst hedge fund manager ever, with a one-year return of negative 48 percent, because Greece was such a sure thing.

No mention of Chelsea Clinton and her numerous fake degrees, including a doctorate.  All those degrees and yet all she's managed to do with her life is a mostly no-show patronage job at NBC News interviewing Geico Insurance's Gecko, marrying into the Mezvinsky Crime Family, pushing out a couple of future Hunter Biden or Megan McCains, and working for mommy and daddy's crime syndicate.

Meanwhile, Mezvinsky gets to talk at Iowa State University recently and nobody complains.  He's a "former Iowa Congressman", and that's OK to not add any more because he's a Democrat.  Shh Shhhh!.  Never mind his actual criminal record or the restitution he owes, or that he's such a fucking scumbag that even Bill Clinton, in his final days of selling pardons to the likes of Marc Rich, wouldn't give one to Mezvinsky.

Belin writes shit like this:
In contrast, last week’s devastating testimony by Ambassador Gordon Sondland, former National Security Council official Fiona Hill, Lt. Colonel Alexandr Vindman, and others did not dent Republican opposition to impeaching Trump.
Does Mezvinsky have a theory on why today’s GOP members of Congress seem unmoved by facts about Trump’s conduct toward Ukraine? He cited three factors.
So devastating!  But only to Democrats.

One of the three factors Mezvinsky cited was that he believes the Congressional districts are more "gerrymandered".  That's not true, but the idea that GERRYMANDERING is why Republicans in Congress won't vote to convict Trump can only mean that Ed Mezvinsky's elevator doesn't exactly go to the top floor.

So old Ed Mezvinsky can't explain what Trump did that was actually illegal, or would constitute "high crimes and misdemeanors" to the point of impeachment, other than maybe Trump winning the 2016 election and the Democrats are butt-hurt.  That, and the possibility of learning that the scumbag offspring of swamp dwellers need to find a way to pay for their crack cocaine habits and child support, like Hunter Biden.  And the only way to do that is through corruption and kickbacks in foreign countries.

Is this the best "the left" in Iowa can do for blogging?  Going around with knee pads and interviewing doddering old has-beens who are fucking crooks and leaving out all the fun stuff?

This is almost as vapid as the Cedar Rapids Gazette asking racist and bigoted Christie Vilsack who she was going to support in the caucuses.  It's definitely a finalist for the "Who Gives A Fuck?" Award for political writing in Iowa in 2019.
