Sullivan conflates "impeachment inquiry" with actual impeachment. There's a difference.
Sullivan seems to think that if Trump is impeached that he'll be removed. That's not the case.
What is Trump's "apparent misconduct"? Sullivan cannot explain it, other than roll out the bullshit about "investigating a political rival".

Basically, Adam Sullivan seems to think that President Trump should be impeached for being elected as the President of the United States.

They don't want Trump and others looking into the worthless shithead children of politicians like creepy Joe "Hands" Biden, who have found ways to extract kickbacks and payoffs from foreign companies to keep their sons and daughters high on crack and other drugs.
Adam Sullivan is even wrong about saying that impeachment is a "purely political process."
What has Trump done compared to, say, Bill Clinton?
Bill Clinton lied under oath and tampered with witnesses. After impeachment, and after the trial in the Senate that voted to not remove him, he was cited by a Federal Judge for civil contempt and fined, entered into a settlement with Paula Jones, resigned from the Supreme Court Bar, and agreed to a suspension of his Arkansas Law License, which he has never attempted to have reinstated.
That's not the say that Bill Clinton should have been impeached. Politically, it was a pointless thing to do without the votes in the Senate.
But Democrats will stand behind any rapist, pervert, crook, or scumbag, and they'll always project fake shit onto Republicans. Hello, Russia Collusion! Hello, Kavanaugh! Hello, Ukraine phone call bullshit!
